Welcome to The Bunny Trail Rabbitry site. We are
a small hobby rabbitry, specializing in Polish, Holland Lops, Jersey Wooly's and Mini Rex. We believe in producing quality
show bunnies instead of mass producing so-so rabbits. We believe in Rabbits of Distinction, and expect it with every planned
breeding.
We are located just outside the majestic Glacier National Park in Montana.
Our bunnies are fed top
quality feed, only grass hay and a few times a week we give them a treat of Organic greens. Each bunny has play time a couple
of times a week. They are turned out in our horse trailer in winter and the bunny yard in summer. And of course each day they
all get their daily love.
We are currently working on breeding the classic Tort as well as Tri and Harlequin Holland's.
We are off to a great start so far in the colors we are getting we and will from time to time have some tri or harlequin kits
for sale. Keep watch on our For Sale page.
Our main focus on our Mini Rex is producing great
type and fur in the tri colors. We are breeding both black/orange and blue/fawn tri's with the occasional harli's. We
will also have other colors from time to time as well. Our bloodlines include Horn Rapids, Silo's, Ezdaes and Swan
Valley rabbitry.
Our Polish herd is made up of some well known bloodlines.
We breed for blacks and chocolates in both solid and broken colors. From time to time we may have lilac's as well as
one of our bucks is a lilac. Although the lilac color is not ARBA approved yet, our buck Uno does pass on his
awesome conformation.
The Jersey Wooly breed is our newest venture with rabbits. We have admired
this breed for awhile now and decided to go for it aquiring our first two pair from K & B rabbity. We are excited
to start showing these little cuties and our first litter is due to arrive late 2009. Our colors are the shaded group,
pointed, and the marten colors.
Please email us for more information or if you have
any questions or information regarding the particular breeds we have. We look forward to visiting with you.
Thanks
for looking and have a great day
